What Makes A Healthy Relationship?

Here are some tips to help you know if you are in a healthy relationship. Not sure? Take a step back down to Earth for a few minutes and ask youself the following questions:

* Mutual respect - Does your boyfriend understand what a great catch you are and why? (The answer to "Why" is the most important part). Respect in a relationship means that each person values the other for who they are.

* Trust - If your boyfriend sees you talking with another guy, does he lose his cool or keep walking because he knows you'd never cheat on him? It's OK to get a little jealous sometimes, but how a person reacts when feeling jealous is what matters.

* Honesty - Have you ever caught your boyfriend in a major lie? Similar to Trust, if your boyfriend isn't being honest, then you'll have a hard time believing other things he says. This results in a falling apart of communication and a shaky relationship.

* Support - When you're having a hard time, does your boyfriend help to ease the pain or just make it worse? Some boyfriends are great when their girlfriends' world is falling apart but can't take being there when things are going right (and vice versa). In a healthy relationship, you are both there for each other in the good times and the bad.
